I did it! 209 miles in a day!!

Hi Everyone. Thanks for the support! I completed the first part of my double challenge by cycling 209 miles in a day!

i can't lie, it was tough. Not all of it, but particularly the last 25 miles! Was so good to see some friendly faces to get me over the line!

Next up, The Isle of Wight!! 

A steady, but busy week + new jersey!

Been a steady week of cycling this week, 107 miles so far. A lot of these miles have been with my 6yo son as he nears completion of his own 200 mile challenge for Yeovil Hospital Charity's Breast Cancer Unit Appeal. nhsjack.blogspot.com

The charity very kindly gave me a jersey yesterday to wear, which I will do so with pride! Another little flurry of donations too which has taken me over the magical £1,000 mark which is super exciting!!

The weather forecast doesn't look favourable, but I can't change that! 

Finally getting some decent miles in

Yes, I've left it late (just over a week to go), but I've managed to get some miles in over the past couple of evenings. 

Including my miles with Jack for his 200 challenge, I've done 87 miles yesterday and today.

Luckily, the weather has turned just at the right time and the evenings have been lovely
